MORE ABOUT THE GOLF COURSES?
ALBATROSS GC
This 18-hole championship golf course that opened in 2009 in the vicinity of Prague, was designed by Keith Preston. The course was built with a vision to create the best course in the Czech Republic and is maintained with the highest attention to detail. The elegantly shaped contours in the moderately hilly terrain with rust-coloured rocks lining water hazards make for a striking layout. The splendid clubhouse hosts a renowned restaurant with a considerable terrace overlooking a large putting green and the whole course. Albatross is located about 35 minutes from Prague historic centre and only 20 minutes from Prague airport. The course hosted Ladies European Tour and it has been the official home to European Tour (D+D Real Czech Masters in August) since 2014.
PANORAMA GC
This 27-hole golf course was opened in 2016 in the beautiful area of Posazavi. Designed by an international team led by Libor Jirasek, Michael Terech and Rainer Preissmann, the resort located an hour from the centre of Prague, offers a challenging golfing experience. The first nine, Forest, offers very interesting and challenging holes, the second loop of nine, Meadows, are quite demanding and undulating, while the other nine, River, lay near the Sazava River are more demanding because of many water hazards. The players can also enjoy a modern clubhouse, which along with elegant interior offers a relaxing seating at the terrace. There is also a great restaurant that serves local specialties as well as a modern hotel with relaxation facilities. Panorama is the best Czech golf course of recent years according to local Golf Digest readers and is going to host the European Challenge Tour from 2022.
OAKS PGA GC
Oaks PGA National Czech Republic is the brand new premium golfing experience in the Czech Republic -having opened in August 2020. The 18-hole course was created by leading designer Kyle Phillips, who has designed courses on every continent including three of the world's top 100 - Kingsbarns in Scotland, California Club in the USA and South Cape in South Korea. It is part of Oaks Prague, a modern community of premium homes nestled in a beautiful 140-hectare country estate south east of Prague city centre. The course is a trailblazer in environmentally sustainable golf design and is operated by Troon Privé, the private club division of Troon Golf, the world's foremost golf management company. Located just over half an hour by car from Prague, Oaks PGA is the winner of World Golf Awards in the category of the Czech Republic's Best Golf Course 2020 and Europe's Best Golf Course 2020.
